The Chrono window system consists of a series of components in various models depending on the window type.
The mainly pre-assembled and ingeniously designed components are the key to an efficient and easy window assembly.

Chrono rod system

Modular synthetic rods

The Chrono rod system consists of 11 synthetic rods of various lengths, so that all window formats can be spanned.

STRENGTHS

  • Quick and efficient assembly due to toothed connections and ready-made parts.
  • If there are any imprecisions in window production, high margins of error can be compensated for.
  • High stability due to the use of dimensionally stable, reinforced synthetic material.
  • Smooth functioning, no rattling when operated.
  • No after-care required thanks to self-lubricating synthetic rods.


CHARACTERISTICS

  • Burglar resistance: suitable for security fittings up to SKG** and RC2.

 

Visible hinges

STRENGTHS 

  • Quick and efficient assembly: clampable hinges, drilling not necessary.
  • Large adjustment range compensates for imprecisions in window production and guarantees faultless operation.
  • Extensive range of finishes:
    - powder coating in more than 450 RAL colours.
    - matt or glossy.
    - natural colour anodisation or colour tones.
    - textured coating.
    - stainless steel look.
  • Durable: use of corrosion-resistant materials: zinc alloy, stainless steel, aluminium, synthetic materials, etc.


CHARACTERISTICS

  • Vent width up to 1700 mm.

  • Vent height up to 2800 mm.
  • Vent weight up to 130 kg. Special version for side-hung windows up to 300 kg.

Concealed hinges

When the window is closed, these concealed hinges cannot be seen. This produces a sleek, modern-day look, which is reinforced by the combination of narrow frame profiles and expansive glass surfaces.

Chrono Invision Go

  • For extra narrow frame sections.
  • Maximum opening angle of 100°.
  • Vent width up to 1300 mm.
  • Vent height up to 2800 mm.
  • Vent weight up to 130 kg.

Chrono Invision Pro

  • Adjustable friction device.
  • Maximum opening angle of 105°.
  • Vent width up to 1700 mm.
  • Vent height up to 2800 mm.
  • Vent weight up to 170 kg (200 kg on request).

Perimeter locking

The Chrono perimeter locking consists of a number of black galvanised components which ensure that a closed window is perfectly wind and watertight.

STRENGTHS

  • Quick and efficient assembly due to clickable, clampable, and pre-assembled parts.
  • Less stock: 1 version usable on both left and right.
  • Durable: use of corrosion-resistant materials: zinc alloy, stainless steel, brass, synthetic materials, etc.


Chrono Standard

  • Additional locking points are easy to add thanks to the standard locking points on the rods.

Chrono Plus

  • Basic burglar resistance.
  • 2 burglar-resistant locking points.
  • Stainless steel mushroom head bolts in combination with special clampable locking points in zinc alloy.

Chrono Safe

  • High burglar resistance: SKG** and RC2 approved.
  • Burglar resistance up to RC3 is possible using aluminium rods.
  • Stainless steel mushroom head bolts in combination with special clampable locking points in brass.
  • Additional burglar-resistant components: anti-lift devices, protection pieces, security pins, etc.

Window handles

Sobinco has designed an extensive range of attractive handles to operate and secure windows. 

 

STRENGTHS

  • Quick and efficient assembly in combination with lockcase.
  • Aesthetic, uniform design: the Edge, Horizon and Sobinox range also includes door handles and sliding door handles, suitable for the same design as the window handles.

Lockcases

A lockcase is suitable for aluminium turn-tilt windows, tilt-turn windows, side-hung windows and hopper windows with eurogroove.

The lock is operated using a handle with square spindle. There are 2 versions: a standard version and a version for baseless handles.

STRENGTHS

  • Quick assembly: the spindle of the handles clicks into the lockcase.
  • Durable: manufactured from corrosion-resistant materials = long lifespan.

 

CHARACTERISTICS

  • To be used in combination with Chrono Standard and Chrono Plus.
  • High-security version for Chrono Safe SKG** and RC2.

Chrono accessories

The following components are optional and add an extra functionality to the Chrono window fittings.

Window stay

A window stay is an arm which limits the opening angle of a window in its turn position, and prevents the window blowing open.

  • Available in 3 lengths.
  • Integral adjustable friction mechanism.
  • Can be disconnected.
  • Easy assembly: clampable, no cut-outs.

Night ventilation position

The night ventilation position is a device that sets the window in a fixed position of 12 mm.

  • Ensures discrete ventilation.
  • Low heat loss.
  • Can be turned off.

Magnet contact

A magnet contact is placed on the window and is connected to an alarm or home automation system. 

  • Check for opening condition of the window.
  • Security protection.

Snapper

A snapper is an additional locking point which keeps the window closed without it having to be locked.

  •  Application: balcony windows.

Extra anti-slam shut device

The additional safety device is a device that can be installed retrospectively which prevents the vent shutting unintentionally from its tilt position.

 

CHARACTERISTICS 

  • For turn-tilt and tilt-turn windows.
  • High, narrow windows (< 670 mm wide and up to 280 mm high) are possible.
  • Installation on the main arm of the smallest scissor.
