Sobinco is a family-owned company with more than 60 years of experience and a strong focus on system suppliers and manufacturers of aluminium windows and doors. As a market leader in the Benelux and with rapidly growing export markets, Sobinco is a strong and reliable partner for customers throughout Europe and Asia. The Van Parys family, owners of the company, has created a financially sound and technologically advanced environment in which Sobinco’s specialists can fully concentrate on their strengths. With more than 550 dedicated employees at the headquarters in Zulte (Belgium) and the sister company STA in Maia (Portugal), Sobinco has extensive production capacity. This combination enables the company to create real added value for its customers and further strengthen its position as a reliable, long-term partner in the market.

Expansion of the campus in Zulte

With the recent expansion of the campus in Zulte, the company has almost doubled its production and administrative centre from 29,000 to 51,000 square metres. At this expanded site, Sobinco carries out all production processes in-house – from product development and zinc die-casting to plastic injection moulding, surface treatment, assembly and logistics. This high level of vertical integration guarantees consistent product quality, short delivery times and great flexibility to meet individual customer needs. Sobinco also offers customised private-label solutions, allowing system suppliers to offer their own branded products. This service enables customers to shape their product portfolio individually and strengthen their market position – without having to invest in complex production processes themselves. A key pillar of Sobinco’s quality is the consistent use of high-quality materials, specifically selected to ensure the durability, robustness and functionality of the hardware components. The company often deliberately goes beyond standard requirements by carrying out extensive tests on functionality, resistance and safety. This provides extra reliability and peace of mind, especially for manufacturers and system suppliers. For them, Sobinco does not just develop products – it creates tailored solutions with added value that simplify day-to-day work and make processes more efficient. An excellent example is the new Cosmo window hardware: with 50% fewer components than conventional systems, it represents a radical simplification of the product range. This makes storage, logistics and installation significantly easier, minimises potential errors and increases process reliability. Despite the reduced number of parts, Cosmo covers all window functions – from basic configurations to certified security versions – enabling manufacturers to produce efficiently and economically without compromising on quality. In addition, Sobinco places great value on close collaborations with partners. System suppliers and manufacturers benefit from technical support, hands-on training and fast, direct service. This personal commitment makes Sobinco a reliable partner that supports complex projects with expertise and responds flexibly to individual needs.

A new milestone

The renewed Sobinco Campus at the headquarters in Zulte marks a new milestone that underlines the company’s comprehensive approach. Production, administration, research, customer service and showroom are now all housed under one roof, ensuring efficient processes and short communication lines. The Sobinco Campus is more than a workplace: it is a knowledge centre where technology, craftsmanship, innovation and design come together in a unique architectural setting. The campus connects people, spaces and ideas, just as Sobinco products connect indoor and outdoor environments. It is an inspiring environment that stimulates knowledge-sharing and cooperation. At the same time, the campus sends a strong signal in terms of sustainability: more than 3,400 photovoltaic panels generate over 1,500 kWp of electricity, supported by modern heat pumps, energy-efficient LED lighting and an intelligent rainwater management system. Since the campus was put into service, energy consumption has been reduced by more than 26%. These sustainable initiatives are also reflected in the products, which are manufactured resource-efficiently, sustainably and with low maintenance requirements. Environmental certifications such as the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) provide transparent information about the ecological footprint. With its financial stability, high level of vertical integration and clear focus on system suppliers and manufacturers, Sobinco is a strong partner – not only by delivering premium hardware solutions, but also by supporting customers with innovative solutions, optimising processes and ensuring quality – to remain strong and future-oriented together.

Relive the magic of the festive opening of the Sobinco Campus through the aftermovie of December 2, 4 and 5, as well as the aftermovie of December 6.
