Lift-slide doors

General

In addition to an extended range of locks and locking pulls for sliding doors, Sobinco offers also an advanced and maintenance-free lift-slide system. The system is based on a simple principle with three functions: lifting, sliding and lowering of the door. With this gear it is possible to fabricate doors up to 400 kg vent weight so that very big glass surfaces become possible in order to illuminate your living rooms.

Specifications and advantages

• Suitable for very large and heavy 2-, 4- and 6-part lift-slide doors.
• The doors move very smoothly from lift to slide position and back.
• Due to the 2 roller assemblies in high-grade synthetic material with needle bearings, the doors slide effortlessly even for large door areas.
• The locks, for use with europrofile cylinder, are available with 27.5 and 37.5 mm backset. The lock can be cut off at the top side. The locks are usually mounted in combination with packers according to the available installation depth. The thickness pieces in synthetic material are available in different heights.
• Solid handle:
  - on long backplate with concealed fixing
  - anodised or polyester powder coated in more than 450 RAL colours
  - can be combined with a handle, with or without cylinder, or with a finger pull on the outside
• Keeps:
  - steel zinc plated
  - different dimensions according to the available installation depth
• Accessories:
  - Night ventilation keep in brass zinc plated. This keep is also necessary for a double door with one vent closing on the other vent.
  - Friction device in synthetic material to fix the door in any position to ventilate or to access (only possible up to 150 kg).
• The components of the lift-slide system are made of high quality steel, zinc alloy and aluminium castings. Dependant on the material, the parts are either zinc plated and passivated, or anodised.
