Orca exit panic device

General and specifications

• Multipoint lock with panic function so that the latch bolt and the dead bolts always unlock by operating the door handle or the horizontal push bar from the inside.
• The lock combines 6 versions in only 1 lock reducing the quantity of locks in stock:
  - usable left hand and right hand simply by turning the latch bolt
  - the 3 functions B, D and E can be set on the same lock
• The Orca panic exit devices are tested according to the European standards for escape doors EN179 (operated by door handle) and emergency exit doors EN1125 (operated by horizontal push bar).
• The Orca panic exit locks are based on the standard Orca multipoint locks and have the same advantages:
  - high security: hook bolts and security pins
  - afterwards interchangeable latch bolt (5 versions)
  - locking and unlocking by a single turn of 360° with the key
  - non-corroding materials
  - easy assembly
• A standard cylinder can be used. A special cylinder with free-run function is not necessary.

Versions

• Also available as single lock.
• Only available with standard latch bolt.
• Backset: 35 mm and 40 mm.
• Faceplate lengths: 1895 mm, 2170 mm, 2470 mm.
• Faceplates: flat 20 mm and 24 mm; U-shaped 22x6,5 mm, 22x8,5 mm, 24x5 mm and 24x6,5 mm.
• Keeps: separate lock keeps and long keeps

Face fixed exit panic device

• Face fixed exit panic device, to be mounted on the inside of the door, steel zinc plated, for standard profile cylinder.
• Base sets:
  - with cylinder on the outside
  - with full length cylinder up to the inside
• The exit panic device is CE marked in accordance with the European standard EN 1125:1997+A1:2001.
• Push bars in lengths of 1000, 1200 and 1500 mm.
• The lock is not cylinder-operated. It can only be operated by a door handle, whether or not combined with a cylinder to lock your door from the outside.
• The exit panic device is non-handed.
• A set with vertical rods and latch bolts is possible to have a better locking of the door:
  - with top and bottom latch bolts
  - with sideways locking latch bolts
  - doors up to 2650 mm vent height
• Latch bolt steel nickel plated.
• Covers in steel coated.
• Finish: white, grey, black or polyester powder coated in more than 450 RAL colours.
• The lock can be operated on the outside by a door handle or door knob with long backplate or a door handle on short backplate.
• Options:
  - set cover sections
  - additional connection rod for top locking point for doors with vent height up to 3600 mm
  - keep for PVC doors
